Postpartum Services:

 

 

We will have a complementary meet and greet to see if we are a fit.

I suggest clients add 2-3 hours to your package to allow for a prenatal meeting, so we can start planning our postpartum visits beforehand. During this visit, we will meet at your house to get familiar with you and your family, do hands-on feeding and newborn care education if needed.  Develop your postpartum support plan, and prepare the home to welcome your baby.

 

Things that we work on during our in-person postpartum visits include (but aren't limited to):

 

• Postnatal care for parents and newborn 

• Lactation support and infant feeding 

• Older sibling care 

• Light housework

• Cooking meals, prepping snacks 

• Emotional support for new parents, i.e. unpacking birth story if necessary

• Access to evidence-based information and postnatal resources

• Referrals to other professionals within the community, as needed including a pelvic floor specialist, lactation consultant, infant sleep specialist, etc. 

 

Fees and Additional Information

• My rate is $40/hour, with a 16-hour minimum

• My overnight postpartum rate is $45/hour 

• I offer weekend availability
